Community Outreach
I love mentoring and have been supporting elementary and middle school students since August 2021 dedicating 3 to 6 hours each week. Over this period, I have guided 16 teams in FIRST LEGO League (FLL) competitions from 2021 to 2024, with 5 teams earning recognition and awards in various categories.
In 2023 and 2024, I served as a lead mentor at Google-sponsored workshops, where I guided 40 neurodivergent students from Pathlight School in robotics and technology.
In 2024, I led a robotics workshop at Orange Valley Nursing Home, where I mentored 20 elderly residents on robotics projects, including the design and construction of a prosthetic arm.
I have raised $2,000 for the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation (www.ekal.org) that supports education in tribal districts in India through various events and profits generated from Pillow For Cause. I have been supporting a school through the foundation since 2015.
Since March 2023, I have been volunteering with Willing Hearts (www.willinghearts.org.sg), distributing food packets every week to 10 needy households in Singapore.
