Entreprenuership

In the summer of 2023, I was accepted into LaunchX (www.launchx.com), a prestigious and highly competitive program with a typical acceptance rate of just 14%. This opportunity provided me with the skills and learning to undertake an entrepreneurial journey.

As part of the program, I co-founded and launched Cultura Caja (www.culturacaja.shop) in the US, introducing children and families to global cultures through curated snack boxes sourced from diverse regions. Our launch was met with enthusiastic support, reaching over 50 customers within the first day.

Building on this success, I expanded operations to Singapore with Culture Express (www.culturexpress.shop), where we adapted our product offerings to cater to local market preferences. In addition to commercial success, I also collaborated with SINDA (www.sinda.org.sg), a Singaporean NGO, to distribute these boxes and support community initiatives, making a positive impact on local communities.

During the pandemic, my twin brother and I co-founded Pillow For Cause, a company specializing in lavender-based products. We established a comprehensive online presence, developing a website with an end-to-end payment mechanism to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency.

We designed and sold custom lavender pillows, generating $1,750 in revenue. Importantly, we committed 100% of our profits to funding educational programs in rural India through the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation (www.ekal.org), making a meaningful impact on communities in need.
